When I first heard the live album "Babylon By Bus" I totally fired. Such a spectrum of tonal colors, a lively, unrepeatable play that simply gets out of the chair ...

I find it very strange that one Bob Marley album gets in the UK charts week after week. Reggae is a specialised type of music and I cannot see many people wanting to buy it.

Bob Marley's music breaks out of such a narrow definition. His songs were recorded as early as 68 by others and in 1972 has a song on a Barbara Streisand album. What would be interesting is what he'd have been playing now. When he died it had been hoped to tour with Stevie Wonder. I think he'd be playing with the old Jazzers who brought us Ska. Ernest Ranglin is the A side of his first tune. That tune was called Exodus, Marleys album voted best of the century.
