Prelude To Ecstasy is the debut album of BRITs Rising Star 2024 winners The Last Dinner Party.
Released 2 February by Island Records, Prelude to Ecstasy, entered the UK Official Albums Chart at Number 1 a week later on 9 February with the biggest opening week of any band in nearly a decade, since Years & Years in 2015. The Last Dinner Party also delivered the fastest-selling vinyl debut of any group this century, surpassing title holders Wet Leg by selling more than 14,000 units on vinyl in the album's first week on sale.
Prelude To Ecstasy was produced by James Ford and features the singles Nothing Matters which reached Number 22 on the Official Singles Chart, along with Sinner, My Lady Of Mercy, On Your Side, and Caesar On A TV Screen.
