MUNI LONG

Muni Long (pronounced 'money long') is a Florida-born singer-songwriter, real name Priscilla Renea Hamilton.

Born September 14 1988, Muni Long gained popularity on YouTube in 2009, when she signed with Capitol Records under her birth name and released her debut studio album, Jukebox.

In 2010, Muni Long began writing for other artists, boasting credits on songs for the likes of Cheryl (on UK Number 1 single Promise This), Rihanna (California King Bed) and Madonna (MDNA album tracks Gang Bang and Love Spent). Other artists Long has written for across her career include Little Mix (Turn Your Face), The Saturdays (Gentleman) and Fifth Harmony (Worth It).

Seond studio album Coloured was released in 2018 under birth name Priscilla Renea, with her third collection Public Displays Of Affection: The Album released under the Muni Long moniker in 2022.

In January 2022, Long earned her first-ever Official Singles Chart appearance as a lead artist, with Hrs & Hrs peaking at Number 41.

Cut to 2024, and Made For Me debuted at Number 62 after the track saw viral success on social media. TikTok influencer Milck Marie kickstarted Made For Me's trending trajectory, including the song in many videos and encouraging other users to lip sync the track's pre-chorus lyrics 'Twin, where have you been?'.
