Alibi is a collaboration between British pop queen Ella Henderson and influential dance trio Rudimental. It contains a heady sample of Coolio's 1995 classic Gangsta's Paradise, which was a Number 1 hit in the UK and one of the best-selling singles in UK chart history.
The single actually functions as something of a full circle moment for both acts; in 2018, Ella was signed to Rudimental's label Major Tom via a deal with Atlantic, following her departure from Syco, with whom she'd released music since taking part in The X Factor.
