Cold Heart was the combination of two Elton John songs – 1972’s Number 2 hit Rocket Man and 1989’s Number 1 hit Sacrifice – put together by Australian production trio Pnau (Peter Mayes, Sam Littlemore and Empire Of The Sun’s Nick Littlemore) with new vocals by Elton John and Dua Lipa. The song was released on August 13, 2021 and entered the Official UK Singles Chart at Number 33, and claimed the Number 1 spot nine weeks later. It was Elton's eighth Number 1 (and first since 2005), Dua's third and PNAU's first.
